Free potion ☆☆☆

In most of the pokemon games, there's usually a potion in your PC at the start of the game

Before you getting your starter, do you usually bring the free potion with you?

That's still a thing? I didn't even know, so I guess that answers the question xD They should put something extra special in there for people like you that still bother to look.

I have probably gotten it out once? I usually never bother and just wait to get a free potion from a guide or something.

If there's a free potion, I grab it, and if not, I still check to see if it's there anyway. It's not like it'll be of more use later in the game, and it's free, so why not take it?

I've been doing a run of Red lately that doesn't use any store-bought items, so I've become even more conscious than usual of free items, as they're the only options I have. Although I'm more interested in poke balls than I am in potions, for the most part.
