Okay, a few things here, I'm in a rush, so I won't be giving any explanations on each pokemon's role or purpose, I'm going to throw this brand new OU team to you, I have just spit up this team on my Diamond version. Very good team; balanced syngery as well as a mix of offense/defense.

I reccomend Fire Blast > Overheat. In my experiances using Specstran (which I positively ADORE) Over 2 turns, it does a lot more damage.

I reccomend changing Machamp to a Rest-Talker, that way you not only absorb status, but handle Tyranitar more efficiently:

    Machamp @ Leftovers
    Adamant
    252 HP / 36 ATT / 216 DEF / 6 SPEED
    Dynamicpunch
    Ice Punch/Stone Edge
    Rest
    Sleep Talk

I would recommend Substitute or Protect on that Jirachi, to help beat down Blissey.

MixVire tends to not be so terribly walled by the metagame, really try it out sometime.

Electivire @ Expert Belt / Life Orb
    Mild
    252 SAtk / 40 Atk / 216 Spe
    Cross Chop
    Thunderbolt
    Flamethrower
    Hidden Power Ice

Don't ask why I put 216 Spe, it outspeeds Lucario that way. >_>

Just a tiny thing, I would recommend an electric type weak Pocket Monster to lure in that +Spe for E-Vire.

I fail to see how you go about winning your battles given how horridly slow the team is. Anything the outpaces the entire team potentially gives you plenty of trouble, take SubGengar for one. SubSalac Heracross also manhandles the team, so think about the possible threats first. Two changes I would suggest is to use Choice Scarf > Specs on Heatran to revenge kill prominent threats like Lucario and Metagross and also SD Lucario > Machamp to give a more immediate threat and reliable late game cleaner. I can't really offer any further advice without dramatically changing the layout of the current team so I'll leave that up to you.

I hope you are right on the 2 Overheats < 2 Fire Blasts theory, I'm changing that up Vance, thanks ;)

Also, about the RestTalking Machamp, I'll try that out, since you say it can handle Tyranitar.

I like Jirachi the way he is, CM + [attack move here] works out great, he has great special moves to work with and wondeful stats. I really don't want a HP-sacrificing move like Substitute for a problem I don't really have. Thanks anyway. :)

About the MixVire set, meh...I'll think about it, maybe try it out on a newly breed Electivire, thanks for the suggestions, I due need the speed, so I'll work on adding in an Electric-weak pokemon to lure an electric attacker in. I do like your Ev spread, I do need the speed on this team, thats for sure.

I have already worked with ScarfTran many of times, I would rather stick with specs on the Heatran, thanks.

SD Lucario is amazing, I know, but not for this team, I don't want to use Lucario right now, I've seen enough of that blue dog. >_<

Doom Desire is the worst signature move since Splash in the Color Generation. Replace it for Substitute or HP Fighting.

Why would a RestTalker have No Guard? Use Guts, you get an attack boost. I prefer Low Kick over the other fighting attacks, it is the Fighting Grass Knot, and deals amazing damage to most things in the metagame while being 100% accurate and 32 PP.

Electivire has no place on this team when there are no Electric weaks.

Wow, Dragonite is reduced to any gimmicky set now since Salamence got Outrage. I can't help but shed a tear for the orange dragon. Well I suppose I can help it if I was honest. Oh yeah, Naughty over Adamant so you can put more EVs into other stats instead of wasting them in your -stat. Really that is very very dumb.

I hope this isn't for Platifail, and the new threats walk over this team.

Lol, I have the No Guard ability on Machamp so Dynamic Punch can hit and cause confusion, and also I don't need the attack boost from Guts because when I rest my status will be gone and my boost will be gone with it also. So the why need Guts if it is only going to last for a short time, and that is EVEN if I get statused, which I am not guaranteed I will.

Electivire doesn't need a Motor Drive boost to perform well, he's there for offensive type coverage, if he had a a second ability to choose from I'd choose it over Motor Drive. >_>

I've utilized Salamence enough in past teams, I don't want to be using the same repetitive OU team everyone has been using for months, that removes the point from "fun". I don't play pokemon like a serebiitch robot, I play for the enoyment and the competitive excitement, I may lose when I play uniquely, but anyway its for the pure enjoyment. I'm sticking with Dragonite, but I am going to breed up another with a Naughty nature, because you do have a point there.

EDIT: Doom Desire is on Jirachi for the main fact, I am going to Calm Mind, attack with something other than it, set Doom Desire up, attack some more and wait for it to nail anything neutral or weak to it really hard. If it nails something thats resistant to Steel, oh well. But it helps that later in the game a move with 120 base power will hit whatever is in my way.

No Guard is Machamp's best ability. Guts is truly only useful for the CB set. 100% chance to confusion is like a form of phazing, since no one wants their main Poke confused. Guts also doesn't really work since the main two fighting moves Machamp can utilize (Cross Chop and Close Combat) are either unreliable or lower defenses; defeating Machamp's purpose.

I agree with Electivire though. It's horribly overrated. I feel there are much more threatening mixed sweepers/physical sweepers. One Poke you could try out is Gliscor. Mainly because it can act as a physical sweeper AND fighting resist, which this team dearly needs.

    Gliscor @ Life Orb
    Adamant
    180 HP/50 Att/64 Def/216 Spe

    Swords Dance
    Roost
    Earthquake
    Aerial Ace/Ice Fang

By the way, nothing resists Doom Desire ;) It's basically typless.

EDIT: By the way, no (reliable) water resist means Gyarados takes this team on a joy-ride. I highly advise you to use something like Vaporeon.

Now this is what I'm talking about! Amazing rate, Vance (wishes I could + rep Vance but can't because I only have 9 rep points >_<).

I'm confused on one thing though, should I go with the water resist poke (Vaporeon) or Gliscor to replace Electivire?

I'd honestly remove 2 Pokemon, as much as it may pain you. Gliscor and Vaporeon are excellent editions to this team, however, you could opt for Weezing who resists fighting and...uh, kinda takes on Gyarados (don't come in if it has already DD'd, you're SCREWED then) I'd invest in a revenge killer, something like Choice Scarf Gengar can outspeed Gyarados after 2 Dragon Dances and OHKO with Thunderbolt.

I'm not a big fan of Electivire particularly, but I'd recommend the mixed set over the physical set. It's mainly for the reason that it's more efficient at clipping Skarms wings and you don't get completely physically walled.

    Electivire
    Item: Expert Belt
    Ability: Motor Drive
    Nature: Lonely
    EVs: 252 Attack / 80 Sp.Atk/ 176 Speed
    -Cross Chop
    -Ice Punch
    -Thunderbolt
    -Earthquake

And like Vance mentioned, you could probably use a Gyara buffer as well. (outside Jirachi, especially since your set isn't particularly bulky. ) Ie: Tangrowth, Celebi, HP Eletric

Other than that I'd say your team is decent.

I'll take those Gyara buffers in consideration, thanks for the help, as for Electivire, I'm ditching him.

Minor nitpick; use Timid on ScarfGar, or else it does not outrun Deoxys-E.

Timid for sure? I was just worrying if Gengar wasn't packing enough power in it's special attack.

Don't worry; Scarfers aren't supposed to pack insane power. They get the job done with what they have.

With Guts however, you are getting the boost as you're asleep, plus Low Kick is kinda underrated really

Never told you to use Salamence, just pointing out a fact about Dragonite.

Doom Desire takes 3 turns (including the activation turn) doesn't gain STAB and fails often.

Bulky Jirachi counters Gyara to en extent as fewer are carrying EQ these days. This also takes on Heracross well.

Oh yeah, and you should run the true Mixvire, running Thunderbolt when IIRC its only going to be better against Weezing is a bit rubbish. May be more, can't think of them right now

Your points on Doom Desire are sensible, I'm going to re-think my set with Jirachi.

As for Electivire, I ditched him and put in Gengar.

If this is for D/P, Hypnosis is still viable y'know, Platinum...not so much...there is Trick though.

Substitute or HP Fighting over Doom Desire for Jirachi, Substitute is preferred. Maybe even Wish.
