First of all, i've just realised that this idea is like facebook. Despite me not liking facebook ideas, this is a good idea. I didn't want anybody thinking 'OMGSHEGOTAFACEBOOKIDEANONONO!'

Is there any way where we could add a feature where you could choose one of your friends and add it as a family member? something like...

    Friends|Family
    miju-kun
    --brother
    --cousin

and then you click it and when you have a family member a tab could come up saying 'Family'

    something like that.
    Opinions?

Not a FB idea, just a G+ idea! XD

I would have to say I think this is a little pointless. Granted that people do this 'family' thing, but I don't think it is enough to warrant having this feature put in, IMO.

PC families aren't really used that much to need an option like that, but rather it could be included in "about me", in fact, I thought that was going to be added or maybe I imagined that? It would be handy either way to have that at "about me", rather than in a friends list - and I don't even know if it could be coded anyway :x

It would not be difficult for the admins to add a "Family" text input field in the profiles. It's actually a feature of vB which allows custom profile fields of many types.

Personally, I prefer my family to be in my signature, and I lay out my signature to accommodate such text as such because I believe that minimalistic signatures are just a fad.
