As I already said, it's nice to see some Noctowl love. Of course, Ash shouldn't have 3 badges at that point. Anyway, the battle was alright, but Noctowl got some needed attention so....

I was irked at the way Mean Look was portrayed. They could have had the Pokemon dodge the recall beam or something in reaction to the move, but instead the move apparently prevents recalling because Brock says so.

Brock is always right! Duh!

I think that they depicted Mean Look like that because it wouldn't show up that much. More likely this is wrong though.
