It's only another resource from your friendly neighbourhood resourceman! Is that a word? It is now!
So, as much as we all love our Maruno, the PBS file for the battle frontier pokemon is... messy to say the least:
WHY;ARE;THERE;SO,MANY;SEMICOLONS;AND,WHAT,IS,THE,ORDER
So, here is a resource that uses a different format for battle frontier pokemon PBS files (NOT trainer files!):
- To match a neater format
- To allow for the developer to set
i) an ability
eg. ability = THICKFAT
ii) specific EVs (evs_core =
eg. evs_core = HP_252, ATK_252, DEF_4
iii) (Untested) a tera type (if applicable) (Works with Ludicious89's Tera Plugin and possibly others)
eg. tera = PSYCHIC
Also:
- The new format PBS for the vanilla lists have also been provided in this resource
- If you had your own custom battle frontier pokemon lists, the files can be easily converted
- Converts a smogon PBS file to the new format of frontier pokemon PBS files! (A smogon PBS file is basically a bunch of "Export" files from smogon on top of one another in a .txt file!)
To install:
0) Download this: https://www.mediafire.com/file/j2gz3mmelwnmprj/Frontier+Plus.zip/file
1) Unzip the attached folder
2) If you already have your own battle frontier pokemon PBS files that aren't vanilla, DO NOT select "Replace" when prompted
3) Drop the contents of the folder directly into the Game folder
4) Make sure to compile your game after you have the new PBS file formats!
Notes:
- If you already have Swdfm Utilities, update it to the new one (Included in Plugins section of download!)
- If you wish to convert the PBS files, look at the instructions in the Frontier Plus/Frontier Plus.rb file
