I watched the first episode online a few days ago, and laughed out loud at a bunch of the parts. ^ ^ (Most of them involved Shigure...) I think that Kyo should be more nice to Kagura. She's sweet... Most of the time....

O.K.! I'll be sure to do that! I haven't seen any of the Fruits Basket episodes partially because I'm afriad that they won't be as good as the manga, what did you guys think of the show?

I like the manga personally. ^_^; I think it's more of what you see first. People who saw the anime first tend to stick with the anime, and the manga readers with the manga. But I think you should watch it, tis fun makign comparasons. XD

I don't know if this has been discussed in the topic yet or not, but I've heard rumors that Takaya plans to end the manga series when Tohru finishes high school. Apparently she said the series is going to be at least 20 volumes though.

I have no idea if this is true or not (I have nothing to back this up,) But...

Someone told me that Kureno (the rooster) is really Shigure's brother.
 
I think that would be sensable... she's running out of characters, anyway. XD

Like I said, I really didn't have anything to back it up with. It was just something I heard on a forum, so it's probably not true. I'm following Tokyopop's release of the manga anyway, so I've only read up to volume 11 XD;;;.

I own and have read 1-5 IRL, I've read volume 6 online, Some of volume 9, and Volumes 12-16 along with the first three chappies of 17 online. XD;

Heh, I don't care how far they go... as long as it's good, which it has been for the last 17 volumes. XD Though I agree, it would be nice to see more volumes. I tseem to end it so soon would be rather... abrubt, to me. ^^;
 
I hope they finnish #17 soon! I am so anxious to read it!!!
 
ya as long as their good i don't care how many volumes there are. i mean she could keep making more, but then she might run out of ideas and just strech the story and that wouldn't be good. I want the 12th vol to come to the stores!

I haven't seen the animé, but guess what? Turns out the teacher who takes my sports group at school reads it, too! <3 And she owns some of the animé. I asked her if she'd bring it in, and she said yes. ^_^; I hope she remembers! It would be so fun to watch. =]

Oh, and Tabby [online friend, by the way] told me something positively shocking about the manga, but I won't reveal it, 'cause it's a spoiiiiler~ If you must know, if you absolutely insist upon knowing, then PM me and I'll oblige. XP
