Fruits Basket

Firstly, I'm year of the Monkey, just like Ritsu. We have a lot in common. x3 Though, on every sngle onlien quiz I take, I put down my year as that of the Cat, just to be fangirl-ish. xD
Second, my favorite uncursed characters are Mayu-chan, Kakeru (Is that his name? The dark-haired dork on the Student Council. XD), Miichan, and.... uh....the food delivery guy in volume 1. o_o;
Third, as mentioned earlier, I act the most like Ritsu. XD I'm constantly apologizing and trying so hard to be polite and nice that sometimes I either annoy people or freak them out. XD
 
Heh, I'm a strange combo of characters: Kyo and Ritsu...o.0

Yeah, right now you're probably staring at me thinking something along the lines of "What the heck?" But yup, I'm a mix between the two...Tohru as well.

Kyo, because I'm a hotheaded lil' redhead with a short temper on my hands and can burst into an argument whenever thought possible, and get annoyed at the slightest of things.
Ristu, because I can become so apologetic it annoys the heck outta my friends...and I make myself feel really bad about things.
And Tohru, because I'm just so...so...HAPPY sometimes! ^.^ I have gothic friends and jock friend (like Hana and Uo) and I somewhat, grow on them because I can be so peppy at moments. But then of course some of my Gothic friends say something like, "You should become Emo or something, 'cause you could just brush your hair over your eyes and say, 'Yeah, I'm an Emo with natural red hair.'" Don't ask, they just say that to me...but then they say I'm too happy to pull off the look. So, yeah!

Kyo, Ritsu and Tohru...the oddest of all combos in my opinion...o.0
 
I love Fruits Basket. I fall under the year of tthe Dog..just like Shii-chan. My favorite characters by far are Kyo-kun, Yuki-kun, Akito, Hatori, and Shigure. I'm like Shii-chan and Hatori-san alot. I'm also a lot like Kyo-kun.I'm not a red-head but I have a bad temper and can bearly put up with certain things......and also because when I hate someone I REALLY hate them.
 
The characters I'm most like are:
Kyo
Kisa
Hiro(GO SHEEP)
Tohru
Here's why:
Kyo bcuz I can really have a bad temper and when I do i say things I don't mean and that leads me to acing like Hiro. Kisa bcuz I was ignored by clasmates last year and they were all (well not all but the majority) mean and made fun of me and I'm even more like Kisa bcuz I realized i had to try my best to stay positive no matter wat and were both better now and we have friends(one of the joys of goin to a highschool that has like a milion new kids in it) then Tohru bcuz I can be very optimistic in certain situations!!!!! Plus were both brunettes!! :D
 
I LOVE Feruba! it is, like, the best!

I think I am most like:
Kisa: I am very emotional and shy.
Tohru: We both share the lack of common sense.
Shigure: I'm a dog and I love to write stories(I want to be a auther when I grow up).
Hiro: I'm very timid.

My most fave character is Kagura. Dunno why.
 
LOL, Kagura's one of my fav. characters too ^^. Sooo, what volumes have you people read? I've read 5,6,7,8,11,12. Yeah, I haven't even read #1, how odd..0.o
 
You can read them online? Where?
 
I read up to volume 17 online, but I'm kind of.... not motivated to read 18 at the moment. O_o

SpiritedxAngel, Spectrum Nexium(Hope I spelled it right. XD) hosts the scanlations I read. They've fazed out like, the first ten volumes, but you can access them through a bit of URL editing. XD
 
I tried to read through the posted threads and couldn't access them, but I don't really care. The Tokyopop Manga Magazine had a full chapter of the first chapter in volume 13.
 
Yeah, I'm in the middle of reading volume thirteen right now. There was a link somewhere earlier in the thread, I think... =.=
 
I read up to Volume 13, but I'm not going to read it off a screen. x.x Not the same. Besides, I read my manga a lot, so I might as well just buy it.
 
Yeah, I get whatcha mean, reading it off a computer screen isn't the same, but my mom doesn't want me to buy manga for some reason...so I just make do with what I've got, which is vol. 6,12
 
My favorite Sohma is Yuki, but my most favorite character is Hana's little brother(can't remember his name right now....><). I prefer the manga since it's longer than the anime....

Anyway, yeah, it isn't the same as reading it off of a screen... but I'm extremely impatient when it comes to manga publishing, even when I know how long it takes. XD I'm terrible, I know...
 
Ya I love Megumi, him and Hana rock!!!!!!! I also love Arisa and Kyoko (obviously lol) SHE'S AWESOME MAN!!!!!! Tohru's a lucky girl
 
Megumi is cute. D8 but not as cute as Kyo. <3 <3 <3

Hana-chan and Megumi are such loving siblings.
