Raven Clowes sat upon the large set of stairs that led up to the Military Building, a large pit in her stomach. She was awaiting the time that a colonel or a seargent peaked out the door and said her name. She could see all kinds of people in the streets, and she even saw a State Alchemist walk up the stairs and into the building, without giving her as much as a side glance. Suddenly, she heard the door creak open behind her. She jumped up and saluted the woman standing there. The woman smirked.
"Are you Raven Clowes?" she said. Raven nodded, and as the woman motioned for her to step inside, she felt the pit in her stomach grow even larger.

A little long, but I had to start it out. Please don't start your character off already inside the building.
ic: I whirrled around. Wierd...thought someone was there... I thought. I stared at the stairs a little longer, before continuing my daily wandering. I looked at my hand that had reciently had to be incubated from a battle, and shoved in into my pocket in disgust. "That could have been prevented..." I muttered.
"Teresa!" I heard someone yell. I turned, and stared at my big brother, panting at my knees. "Heh...About time you camr to your sences that Im the better Alchemist!" I said sarcasticly. He shook his head. "The person...at the hall...wants to see you..." he said, still panting.
I shoved my hand deeper into my pocket. "What for?" I asked. He just shrugged, and walked off. I sighed, and started in the direction of the hall.
No, that's okay. You'r not in the building...yet.

As Raven walked through the dimly lit hall, she sensed that she and the woman weren't alone. She took a deep breathe, hoping to shrink the pit, but it wasn't very effective.
"Um, m'am?" she said hesitantly. The woman stopped and turned on her heal.
"What?" she said sharply.
"Oh, um....." she was at a loss for words. After a moment, the woman turned around again and began to walk forward. Raven sighed and followed.

"Come on Danny lets go!" Ben says grabing at his little brother, "If we dont' get there soon we'll be late!"
"But I want to keep looking at the flowers Ben..." Danny says sitting in the grass.
"Why me...." Ben sighs walking over to Danny and pickin him up, "you're coming wheather you want to or not!"
"Hey put me down! Why you! put me down!"
Zeta woke up late, like alway, and saw a clock. "**** I am going to be late" he said. He jumped from bed and prepared himself to go to the Military Building. After a while he was ready to go. "Better keep going" he said and then he started to run towards the Military Building. After running for some time he was fianlly there. Zeta was happy, but still he was late. He entered quietly and sat down on a chair waiting for someone to tell him to go in a room. "I tought I was late and they haven't even say my name" he said with a happy voice.
After walking for quite some time, they came to a door. The woman opened it, and Raven hesitantly walked inside. All of a sudden, the woman turned around and introduced herself.
"My name is Candence Virgo, but you will call me Gen.Virgo, understand?" Raven nodded, surprised they would send a general out to get her. Behind Gen.Virgo sat a three legged chair, and behind the chair was a panel of other high-ranked militia personell. Virgo gestured to the chair, and Raven approached it and sat down.
*sighs*. Looks good. Guess I'll sign up.
Name:Ryuu Souga
Age:18
Appearence:His outfit consists of a black trenchcoat, under a red shirt, and black pants, with black, red, and white shoes. He wears glasses also(think Jin's from Samurai Champloo), and has a dark shade of brown hair and brown eyes. In his trenchcoat are a set of handguns and daggers .
Personality:Ryuu doesn't talk much, except around people he trusts. He also is disgusted at the way the world is, and holds sort of a dry sense of humor toward it.He is an expert gunfighter, and wields mainly handguns, as they're easy to carry around. However, he also carries around daggers for close range combat.
Reason for becoming a State Alchemist:He feels that even though he mght be used as a dog of the military, there are benefits, such as acess to research data and such.
I'll start after I see if I'm accepted or not.
Great. Time to RP then.
Ryuu Souga walked into the tall military building. He scanned, uncertain of where to go. He saw many people in blue colored uniforms, and swore that would not wear one. ~"They don't work for me", he said, laughing silently in his head. He walked up to the front desk and approached the young lady.
"Excuse me", he said in a dry tone of voice. "Where do I go to take the State Alchemist exam?"
"Down the hall".
"Thanks." With that, he opened the door, and walked in. Many other people were also lined up.
"Looks like I'll have some tough competition", Ryuu said with a smirk on his face.
"But I'm not going to let that stop me." And I will become a State Alchemist, no matter what."
"Meh, right after me!" I said to the kid in front of me. then I held out my hand. "Name's Teresa." I said. "Whos your mentor?" I asked. I didnt want to talk too much because I didnt want to look like a fool, so I patiently waited for him to reply.
Shin turned on his heel and faced Teresa. "Alright.....my name's Ryuu." "Ryuu Souga." "And I have no mentor, I've been studying alchemy since I was little and now my alchemy skills are top notch." He shook her hand and looked at the line.
"So..........you want to be a State Alchemist too?" "Looks like I have more competition."
I nodded. "Yep. Im gonna try to be the best, but theres more people here than i expected..." I rubbed the back of my head. "I have to get taught by Roy Mustang. Apperantly My family is 'rich' or something." I said. "You have to be taught by someone! your not gonna learn much from books..."
After some of the people in the room questioned her, Raven stepped out of the room and eyed some of the new comers. She walked up to a young man sitting in a chair and spoke to him.
"Hi. I'm Raven. How's it going?"

Candence wiped some sweat off of her forehead.
"I hate this time of year. All the amateur alchemists coming in. Let's see....after Clowes its..." she stood and peeked out the door.
"Could a "Zeta" please come here?" she saw the Raven girl approaching him and shrugged.
Zeta looked to Raven and said "hello Raven, my name is Zeta. Right now everithig is looking good." "So, did they accepted you or not?" Zeta asked. He waited for her to reply, but then he saw his clock and said "Well this is strange, it doesn't have the same time that my house clock has." "Raven do you know what time it is ?" Zeta asked.
Ryuu looked ahead of the line. "****...............quite a long line." "Hope they have a State Alchemist Battle Tournament. "Should be fun." He grinned in excitement, at getting the chance to see how good his alchemy was. He raised his palms, which had transmutation circles drawn on them. With one fluid motion, he clapped, his plams crackling with alchemical energy. He slammed his left hand into the ground.......... and transmuted a giant spire. "Well................... guess I'm ready."
I looked at him, then at the ground. I clapped my hande, and a bolt of red lightning came from the ground, and shattered his sphere. "Huh...Guess Im ready to." I said, smiling.
"I don't know if they accepted me or not. And I think it's around one or two." Raven watched as another alchemist transfigured a giant spire, and yet another shattered it with red lightening.
"Looks like you just got called, erm....Zeta." She sat down in a nearby chair and transfigured something of her own: an orb of light. She toyed with it for a while, then put it out.
