fun fact: that was the first episode of the anime I ever saw. :D

...but yeah, that mongoose was weird, but nowhere near as weird as that Venustoise. o_0
 
I remember that promo tape. My brother borrowed it from his friend just so we can watch it and make fun of it.

To this day, I believe that that tihng is at least partially to blame for the perception that the anime was the original Pokemon medium instead of the games. >.>

I had that promo tape. My cousin had my copy at his house and we watched it sometime in 2008 or 2009. We lol'd so hard at it it wasn't even funny! :laugh:

The kid with the Duskull creeped me out. XD; And the fat ladies too. XD

The HG/SS commercial made me scream with excitement the first time, then I laughed when I actually heard what they were saying. XD Now it just makes me green with envy, since I can't get my hands on SoulSilver yet. >.>
 
Omg! That IS Drake Bell... I have seen that commercial before (when it was actually on television) and now he is no longer cute to me for some reason... :/
