A while back on Adult swim thet metioned that Fox has announced plans for a Futurama movie. Now I haven't heard anything about this is some time, any news known?

Um... news? They're making it, and Al Gore is going to be in it... that's all I know.
There's 4 movies, btw, and they're supposedly going to split up into episodes for a new season, or something like that.

I know I read that much on Wiki, but I'm not sure about the original source. XD
Anyways, it's good that some stuff is still being produced. Futurama is one of my favourite comedies (along with Family Guy), and I'm interested to see how this new stuff turns out.

Nice find. That's exactly what's wrong with fox, they make a great show and it gets canceled because they have no freaking clue on how to schedule. But I think they have the right idea. I mean look a Family Guy; it was canceled because of scheduling issues, they brought it back with a movie, and it has run 2 successful seasons since then and is coming back for a 6th. My guess is Futurama will do the same thing. But as a side note notice that Family Guy started to "go there" upon it's return", now I'm still a fan of the show but I think the longer the show runs the more border line offensive it gets.
