Hotlinking from dA? It's pretty easy: just view your deviation, preferably fullsize it and then just right-click it and choose 'Copy image link' (or however the browser you're using phrases it). You should then get the url that goes straight to the image and not the deviantart page.

I'm in quite a hurry right now so I can't comment on your pictures much but I promise I'll try to write a more detailed comment about your art when I have time C:

Awww, man, you make me sound like I'm computer illiterate. :C

Of course I've tried this. deviantArt doesn't allow image hotlinking, so I was asking if there was a way to circumvent this without the use of third-party software. You know, so I don't have to through the hassle of saving it to my Photobucket account...

Thanks for stopping by anyways. :)

    Oh, sorry x_x

But hey, I just went ahead and tried hotlinking one of my own drawings from dA on another forum and I had no problem. :? (of course I can't be sure others would see the picture because I didn't save that post, but)
Dunno why it's not working for you though.

Ah yeah, some people actually do get away with hotlinking images because I assume that deviantArt doesn't actively use hotlinking prevention, though they do remove content once they find out you're hotlinking it.

    Pour exemple,

Can I link images from deviantART to my website?
No. Bandwidth theft or (hotlinking) is direct linking to a website's files and is not tolerated.

An example would be using an <img> tag to display a deviation so it will appear on your own site. Performing such an action will most likely result in your account being suspended and deviations removed from the deviantART service.

Oh, I wasn't aware of that (thanks for enlightening me; it'll help me stay out of trouble).
Apologies for wasting your time with this blabber then; let me try to make it up with some comments about your art :J
    (wall of text -warning)

First of all, I like the colours on your first spacescape picture, but it could maybe use a tiny bit more contrast to make it seem more realistic.
The neon shine of the star in the second one (Evista) is pretty fancy but the shadows on the planets are a bit off considering the direction of the light (mostly on the pink/purple planet).

I don't have much to say about the more abstract pieces, because, well, it's pretty hard to give critique (crazy than that the colours are a bit clashing, but considering the fact that the second one has 'trippy' as its title, it's not really a problem).

On the digital cat painting, the fur texture is pretty good as is the glow of the eyes, but there are some things that catch my eye. Firstly, the pendant is a lot more detailed than the face of the cat (which is sort of blurry compared to it) which makes the cat look unfinished. This could be fixed by either adding detail and sharpness to the cat's face or making the pendant less sharp.
Second, there are some anatomy issues; mainly how the head connects to the body. At the moment it looks detached, perhaps showing a part of the neck would help in connecting the head and body better?
Don't forget to use references, which are your best friends in both traditional and digital art. C:

I don't have that much to say about the banners either since I'm more of a drawing-painting person than a bannerist (is that even a real word I doubt it), but at least to me the two of them look rather aesthetically pleasing. My only complaint would be that the word 'Nation' on the Gears of the Nation banner sort of blends too much into the red on the background, making it hard to see. Maybe tone the red down or give the text more glow/something to make it clearer to see what it says?

The biggest issues I see with your coloured Cecilia drawing is that the hair looks relatively flat the way it's shaded now and that the scarf lacks contrast (when being compared to the jacket, which has strong colours and darker shading). There are also some anatomy issues, like the neck being a bit too long, but I won't go more into that because I'm not very good at anatomy myself.
Since I'm also really horrible with words and explaining visual things (especially in English; it's not my first language) I attached a crude paint-over explanation of how the shading on both the scarf and the hair could be improved. I really, really hope you don't mind me doing that; it's the best way I know of for explaining these things.

Your pencil works are a bit more refined and I can clearly see you've used references (this is in a good way). If you want to further improve your pencil skills, try adding more contrast. Don't be afraid of doing big dark areas and pure white spots, those give a lot of extra 'life' to the drawings. I'm not an expert on this field, but my older sister is amazingly good at pencil portraits and such, and 'more contrast' is what she usually tells me. :D

Hiding hands? I admit to doing this too (I stopped some years ago, even though I still can't draw them properly).
I hate drawing hands and I know that they usually never come right, but here's some advice: draw them anyway! It doesn't matter if they're awful blobs of.. something, just keep doing it, use references, and some day you'll notice that you actually can draw them. Don't give up!

... looks like I got a little carried away again.
Though this whatle post may appear really negative altogether, that is definitely not the case. I merely focused on higlighting most of the problems with your art, but that doesn't mean that there is nothing good about it. You already have a lot of talent and even more potential, so just keep artsing! I'll keep an eye on this gallery of yours.

(I really hope you'll get at least something out of this massive critique-wall)
