I have scoured numerous sources and I haven't been able to get a clear answer to my questions.
Scenario:
I bought a used copy of soul silver and I resumed the previous owner's game. After a bit of playing, I began looking through the pokeboxes. After coming across too many eyebrow raising Pokemon I decided to use pokecheck, and I quickly realized that there's been some action replay usage going on.
Questions:
1. Can I transfer any of the legitimate Pokemon to my brand new copy of heart gold? Will that contaminate the cart and any future carts that the Pokemon are transferred to?
2. While playing I bred a legitimate shiny charmander and quickly transferred it to my Pokemon White. I did a pokecheck and the Charizard checks out with all greens minus the text. "This Pokemon was evolved after being transferred to Gen 5." Is this Pokemon legitimate?
3. If the save is corrupt can a new game be created in order to restore it's legitimacy? Or is the cartridge forever doomed?
