4th Gen Game Corner...will this work?

sry for making a new thread for this but... :D

asked Google how to make coins in Platinum EU and quess what. cant play (gamble) in EU, so the only way to make coins is to check the game machines (once/day) or buy 500 coins for 10k. i need some TM's like Flamethrower which costs 10k coins (=200k) and TIME :D

but what if...
im using an R4 card atm, so im about to switch to Platinum US. is the EU save compatible? or will it corrupt my savegame?
I rly want to buy some TM's but dont want to risk my (64 hours) save. I have Torterra, Empoleon, Infernape, so theres a lot to risk

what do u guys think?
i know i can backup my game, but i dont have a card reader atm, so its not so simple :)

It may very well work given they both would use English, but to be safe I'd suggest making a copy of your save file. That way if it doesn't work then you won't risk any data loss. If it doesn't work than sort of making a new save file for the american version or finding something via google to convert them I don't think it'd be a workaround for it though. (You can blame anti-gambling European laws for that).
