Journal entry #1 - A Hero Was Born!

Spoiler:

Started my journy, choosing Totodile as my temporary starter Pokemon.
I decided that my starter has to be a Pokemon that resembles me the most from those that are available
to me at the start with three evos.
The situation left me with four options: Pidgey, Geodude, Caterpie and Weedle.
I decided that Caterpie is the obvious choice for me if I want a truely immersive game.
I caught a Caterpie, named it after me, put Totodile in the PC and am now ready to officialy start The Game of Life.

Journal entry #2 - Being unemployed sucks.

And so I continued to progress, still on my own.
Got stronger and evolved twice in the process.
Defeated Falkner and Bugsy while realising i'm still unemployed, and will stay unemployed for a while due to the fact that my mentor Pokemon is still far away.
I decided on my first love & marriage Pokemon, but it is even more far away than my mentor Pokemon... UNLESS...

Also I would love it if you added art and music to career types.
And I think all this keeping track on your Pokemon level is dumb. It's not challenging, just annoying. What if I want my 'Man's best friend' Pokemon to be like a protective guardian of my kids? I'll obviously need it to be at least as strong as they are. That's just one example. So anyway i'm going to ignore rules regarding who's level should be higher than who's. Hope it's ok, if not count me out 'cause it won't be fun for me :P

I finally put together a team for my LeafGreen run. It will be as follows: Blastoise- Why? I don't really like using charmander or venusaur, I could go with pidgey line but I don't really like Pidgeot, and I also don't feel like using bugs. I am gonna pick Alakazam for career choice, because I like teachers. I am gonna throw in persian for the third pokemon - I like using Persian a lot and I can get one right after the second gym. I am gonna pick eevee (unevolved) for kid pokemon and I am going to throw in Arcanine as a pet because I always imagine people having them as pets alongsidge growliths if Pokemon were real. :3

And with that being said...

The new journey begins!

°Picked up squirtle and named him Leonardo, my rival picked up bulbasaur.

°Destroyed my rival in first battle, had some troubles in the second one though.

°Got through the forest without any problems.

°Destroyed Brock.
