Well, there are two Pichus in Ilex, but I just see a shiny one, and a normal one. Nothing wrong with his ear.

I don't think you can tell with such a small sprite.

In my opinion, this is a pretty neat event. For those who've always wanted a shiny Pichu, this could be their chance to get one. Or, if you're a trainer who wants to collect every single Pokemon, the Pichus could be a little addition to your collection.

The games and the movies has started to become awfully close linked lately. With Platinum's requiring of Movie Regigigas to unlock the Regis, and Movie Shaymin for Gracidea's Flower, movies are starting to play a bigger roll in the games.

What do you think of this seemingly new trend?

In my opinion, it's great. I mean, it gives players more of a challenge.

Haha, I don't mind that the games parallel the movies a bit. :] I like the connection. It's fun seeing something like Distortion World in all its animated glory and then sitting down and playing through it yourself in less than spectacular graphics. I dunno, I think the games and movies complement each other nicely when they match up.

Mind you I might just be trying to justify PICHUUUUUUUUUU. I'm perfeclty okay with this instance. XD; I just assume from Distortion World that I feel the same for all of it.

The idea of new Pichus sounds pretty cool to me.

But honestly, its most likely a marketing technique to get fans to burn up their cash at the movies.
