There are a lot of great games out there. They've been shut down due to a lack of sales, whether due to poor reviews, bugs, or just releasing at the wrong time. But despite this you love the game, it's world, it's gameplay, maybe both. You are saddened when the game is declared a failure. Your hero's story put to an abrupt end and a beautiful world gone to waste. Some of these games escape the hell of critical failure as a cult classic, sustained only by the love of a very dedicated community. Others are not so lucky... One day, you hope, it may live again, hopefully with the soul of what made it great intact.
Everyone has these games, what are a few of yours and why. But not only that, this is the generation of reboots, remasters, and remakes. How do you want it to come back? Do you want to see it re-imagined, maybe to take advantage of new technologies or maybe just to make it fit more mainstream and easier access and play. Or do you want a true sequel, that holds the spirit of what made the game close and trucks on, hoping people see it differently?
