Gaming Stores Closing?

Has anyone noticed that a lot of gaming stores are closing nowadays? My local store (Hero Quest) closed. I was just about to get back into competitive Yugioh, but now the closest store (that holds weekly tournaments) is a hour away.

So, to answer the question, are local gaming stores around you closing too?

Well, that sucks for you, even if my closest game store is a drive away. I suggest online websites if you still want to go competetive.

So, to answer your question, no, they're not for me. :(

Strange, all the stores I go to are getting packed with customers every week I go.

Not really, here... but that's because most of the vulnerable stores had closed before the crisis hit. Most of those stores were part of an 18-store chain that imploded after it's owner was arrested on drug possession charges.
