Hey, has anyone else in this club actually gotten back into Pokemon after seeing Garde?

I'm one of these people... After seeing tons of awesome Japanese Garde fanart on that certain site, I went out to buy Emerlad version.

I can relate to that. If I see a really good art of a certain I liked, but I haven't been interested in it, I like come back instantly. =P In that case, I would have done the same. =P
 
I've always been a Pokemon fan, and it wasn't Garde that started it, oh no, wasn't her. It was when I got a visit from the so-called "tooth fairy" and got Pokemon Blue.

And no, I don't think I was attracted to the game by Gardevoir. ^^; I was already a Pokemon fan when Gardevoir came along.

You're not the only one, Kohei. After seeing Gardevoir in a Poke'mon XD demo and after being impressed with the demo's graphics, I got back into Poke'mon and my older brother purchased Poke'mon XD less than a week after we saw the demo.

I lost interest in Poke'mon when the newer games came out for Gameboy Advance and I was starting to get tired of new species coming out. Good thing I found Poke'mon XD. Now I have several new favorite Poke'mon, but Gardevoir is still #1 with me.

EDIT: This is rather off-topic, but I think a few Half-Life fans might like this. The soundtrack to the first Half-Life.

Gardevoir will ALWAYS be our #1 favorite here. Now only if it came sooner...........but who am I kidding? It looks great now, why take a time machine back through time?

I say that because (slightly off-topic) I lost to Lance in Pokemon Stadium 2. I WAS THIS CLOSE! =
 
Did Garde bring back into the fandom?
I might have answered this question before a long time ago, so I say the abridged version:
Bascially in late 2002, I was curious about how Pokemon was doing after a 1 1/2 year pokemon "drought" of mine. Saw R/S was coming out. Saw some new Pokmemon, then a 2 months later, saw Garde. It wasn't love at first site, but all the awesome fanart grew on me, and soon, I was drawing lots of fanart of my own. And here I am, nearly 3 years later. :D

That reminds me, I drew some RKG stuff just today, I will scan it tonight if I'm not busy with homework. ;)

Edit: Poke-nome's 2nd and 3rd sentence in his latest post actually confused me. :\

I think Poke-nome was talking about how he would have like it if Gardevoir had appeared in the Poke'mon universe sooner.

By the way, did you ever get around to seeing my latest movies Housyasei-san?

44 Pages have now been completed in my Gardevoir fan-fic. Probably another 80 or more to go. This one's gonna be big!

There, this is a concept art by a fan artist ~ PokeSho. If you look nicely, you'll notice that in the battle screen, the male trainer is shown battling a Ralts. You can now guess what Gardevoir would look like in mono colors.

That Pokesho image is awesome on so many levels. I kinda thought about what if R/S was released first, where everyone would still livke the old Pokemon better then that new "Kanto" ones("Charizard? Puh-LEEZ, that newb can't beat the classic, one and only Blaziken!"), which also means if Garde is loved by many for nearly 5 years since R/S, think of how much fanart of it if appeared in 1996! I wonder if Sorara would consider making old R/B version sprites for the Hoenn Pokemon? I would love to see that! <3

Anyone else having problems logging in? I think the system must hate me or something, because it takes several tries (Usually 5 or more) before I'm able to post or edit in a thread, particulalry, this one. At any rate...

Interesting drawings involving Sonic Riders. May must have taken a wrong turn or something along Route 12.

The elegant Gardevoir and Ralts are cute as is the twirling Kirlia.

And I'm not quite sure what to make of the last one, but from what I can gather, it seems we have a cross between Gardevoir, Kirlia and Cosmo. I can't identify that other character on the left. After all, I can only access Sonic X episodes 1 through 52 currently thanks to dead torrents, the lack of cable TV at my current location and off-line sites. Oh, well. Back to writing my story and constructing cartoons!
 
o o; I only clicked the "I am such a huge dork" links. XD Well after that, I clicked the Kirly and Gardy pictures. They're nice. ^_^
 
Ah! The ideas just keep flowing! I now have 48 pages completed. I won't give much away about my story, except to say that it involves Ralts, Kirlia, Mawile and a Gardevoir named Aura. I keep up at this pace and I'll have this done within a matter of weeks!

What would you nickname your Gardevoir/Kirlia/Ralts, if you had it on your team?
Mine would be my favorite Gardevoir name, Mystmind. I always name ALL my Ralts and its evolutions this, whenever I catch them. I have three Mystminds now, one from each of the games Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald. =D

I'd name mine Caria, then evolve it to Gardevoir. The name came from a story that kids won't like. Take hint.

Hopefully the story will be good, but I'd doubt I'd read it all if I have to read through ALL the pages. XD

Yes. You will have to read ALL the pages, especially if you want to get the whole story. Besides, this story isn't exactly meant for people to just fly through it. Its like a novel. Take your time through it and if it takes several days, no biggie.

Aaraboga is liking the story so far and says that its one of the best fan-fics he's come across. And that's saying something since he's read well over 100 of them.

Wha? I already thought I showed a few pictures of Cosmo's sisters? Actually, now that I chacked back, you wheren't around. The doodle shows Garde and Kirlia cosplaying as Cosmo and her sis Galaxina (which is her dub name, she was called Ane-sama in the original). She also has three other sisters.

As for what I would call my Gardevoir; Well, I been wanting to have one named Sana. Original is not my middle name. X3 But it's a cute, simple name. I guess I could use it for either gender. ^^;

Anyway, I doodled a bit at school, and this was Dr. Fox's idea. It could have been better, but I was kinda blocked on some aspects. You could also say it's incompleted as I haven't added whoever was fighting them in some inset. @_@
 
(Thanks Dr. Mack, but I already have the OST for both Half-Life and Half-Life 2 XD)

Anyhow back to topic, my Garde's name is Saanya. But this is the Garde in my main team...

My Garde for breeding was called Tiamat, and my BattleFrontier Garde is called Sasa (which is also the name of my site mascot).
