Ok I am planning on having a gardevoir in my new team on ruby, this is my first time with ev/iv training and I'm new to strategy and stuff so how does this sound:

Gardevoir @(idk what item would be good?)
Evs: 252 Speed, 252 Sp Atk, and 6 def
iv: (I'm breeding for 31 ivs for sp atk and speed)
nature: which nature is good for this pokemon?
Trait: idk which one to pick, Synchronize, or trace?
Moves:
Calm Mind
Psychic
Thunderbolt
Flamethrower

This pokemon is going to be a Special Sweeper, any tips to make it better?

Have you looked at Gardevoir's speed? It's horrible. It can't sweep, it's more of a tank @__@

Um, lets see. Will-o-Wisp, always, for some sexy status over Flamethrower. Wish is an option over CM.

really? I thought it had high speed.... hmm alright got any alternative ideas for good special sweepers?

Its got base 80, which isnt bad but is really sluggish compared to most sweepers out there.
I used this set once, brought me mixed success:
Gardevoir@Lefties
Bold
152HP/100SpAtt/156Def/100SpDef (Or something along those lines, this was last year some time)
Calm Mind
Psychic
T-Bolt/Flame Thrower
