That's actually not the real question, just the title of the thread. It's obvious that no one knows where it is. But I have a theory.

I decided today to see if the Gary music was actually in the game's coding. I brought up Black in VGMTrans and found the Gary music. I took a look at some of the other filenames and came up with a good theory. I found the Gary music under the filename SEQ_BGM_VS_WCS. I also found a file named SEQ_BGM_WCS, which was the menu music for the Wi-Fi battle feature, better known as (drum roll please) Random Matchup. My theory is that the Gary music has something to do with beating X amount of people on Random Matchup, which everybody got bored with before they reached X.

So my actual question is: Who wants to volunteer to help prove/disprove this theory?

The "Gary music" is actually for the pokemon world championships. The WCS you're seeing in the file names stands for "World ChampionchipS". Seriously, try googling "Pokemon WCS" if you don't believe me.

    From Bulbapedia:
Every Champion has shared their battle theme with another Trainer. Blue's theme is remixed in Pokémon Black and White when the player battles the top Trainer in the Battle Subway. Lance's theme is shared with Red when the player battles him at Mt. Silver. Steven's theme is given to Wallace after the latter becomes Champion in Emerald. Cynthia's theme is used against Palmer in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. Finally, Alder's theme is used during the battle against Ingo and Emmet, the Subway Bosses.
Though I have never attempted to hear it before. The music makes me want to go and hear it.
