    I'm trying to start a hack in which I would like to complete redo the new game script (Hi! Welcome to the world of Pokemon...). I would like to change the background picture, text, order of events, etc.

    Can anyone point me to resources or give me the offset to that stuff in the Ruby rom? I haven't been able to find much of substance on the subject beyond changing the text, which is only a portion of my end goal. Thank you very much!
