Hiya, I found a renewed interest in competitive battling this past week. With Karpman's admirably fine amount of patience, I created another team. My team began as a Virizion+Tyranitar+Gliscor core. Hitmontop added Spin support while Jirachi provided Wish/Paralysis Support. I begged for a cute water type, plus I wanted to use DW Slowbro with burn support. They all can pretty much cover some threats. After realizing how Celebi-weak I am, disgusting I know, I swapped Virizion for a roaring Latias.

I'm hoping others can help me patch up my team again and highlight other threats. I love reading the thought process behind it as that's probably the only way I'll learn myself. Share your rates and I share cookies. Thank you for your time.

For Hitmontop, I'd rather have the Technician ability.

Well since I helped build the team, I may as well chime in and say that Hitmontop isn't really used to create an offensive presence, its niche really lies in performing as a bulky spinner than can come in on stuff like Scrafty and Terrakion and threaten their sweep after they've accumulated a single boost. Hitmontop's niche with Intimidate is absolutely unique and cannot be replicated by other Pokemon, whereas there are many Fighting Types that can perform better offensively than our spinning friend and Scizor is superior in Technician abuse. Also, so this is actually a rate, you could change Tyranitar to Choice Band if you'd like, since that beats Reuniclus and Lati@as and perhaps find something to replace Jirachi, maybe Blissey/Chansey, since they can set up SR like TTar and provide Wish Support like Jirachi.
