5th Gen Gen V reference in Gen I

    I read recently that the floating floral tapir Pokemon in Gen V was referenced in Gen I, whereupon the girl outside Rock tunnel says she wishes there were was a light Pokemon with a floral pattern.

    Do you think Nintendo had the idea since Gen I? I mean Shellos was originally going to be in Gen III!!
     
    People have been saying this since the day Munna was revealed and I'm sure there's a thread about it already.
