Gender Choice in Crystal

I've heard choosing the boy or girl in Crystal creates slight changes, such as what others say to your character, and certain pokemon's specific locations in an area. I don't think it's true, but I'm tossing it up here for others' opinions. ^_^

Nope. It doesn't even change what they say to you in Erica's gym. =/

Um, the game is the same on both genders..

Good thing too, since it might be somewhat...disappointing (at least to me). I wouldn't want to keep wondering what I missed as a guy while playing as a girl.

Actually, 1 thing changes if your a girl: before entering the cable club the cable club lady stops you and says something about that the cable club is not for girls and disguises you as a boy so U can enter.

to me, the only difference is the cable club thingy...Im no guy!

Good thing they changed that in Ruby and Sapphire.

And the small girl that you find in the fast ship SS Aqua - she says "This -gender dependant- helped me" or something like that.
