I have a few question
i downloaded 870 pokemon patch today but how to use that patch.On net it says that open a map in hex editor.

1how to use patch
2how to open Advance map in hex editor

pls help me or is there other way to to add pokemon of gen 4 and 5

If that 870 Pokémon patch (I didn't download it myself) is an IPS patch, you could use Lunar IPS. I'm not that good at hex editing, so dedicate that to the internet. You can also use Gen III Hacking Suite (G3HS) made by karatekid552, but you have to do it manually then, and it only supports FireRed.

EDIT: Opening AM in a hex editor is easy; just open your favorite hex editor, press File -> Open or something like that and just double-click A-map. There you are!
