so uh school. you either love it, hate it or tolerate it. this is just a general school thread. if you are in school currently, are you enjoying it? if you are out of school, did you enjoy when you were in school? if not, why? were you homeschooled, or did you go to public or a private school? or even an alternative school? what do you think your school system could do differently?
i graduated from high school almost 3 years ago. i went to public school a majority of my life, but some shit happened that caused me to get transferred to an alternative school. it did help a lot though with my mental health issues. the high school academically was okay i guess, though. i tolerated it.
i'm now currently a sophomore in community college (i still have a few more semesters left bc i am behind on credits and whatnot) and i dont enjoy it at all mostly bc i dont think college is for me, but.. at least ill get some sort of a degree i guess.
i think that schools could.. idk. focus more on what students wanted to do and helped them figure that out instead of making them take mandatory classes that most dont want to take. (for elementary/middle/high school, idk what its called anywhere else). college has a good way of sort of helping you figure that out, but if you end up changing your major you have to take a whole lot of new classes and it takes longer for you to get the degree iirc.
but yeah. lets have a discussion i guess.
