Okay, a LOT of though went into this game idea.

    .:General Info:.

This story takes place in the distant future (There is no exact year). This is based off of two theories of the earth's creation, one involving science and the other involving religion. Also, the average lifespan of a person in this story is about 150 years.

PLEASE NOTE! This is very controversial! So if you have nothing nice to say (or constructive criticism), then do NOT say anything at all!

    .:Storyline:.

It is a crisp, new day. The sun begins to rise, and the birds begin their chirping. You awaken, and start thinking about the dream you had last night. It was a dream you have never had before. You are floating in space, and you can see the the solar system, still new and young. The earth has no visible life on it. It is a dead, baren brown planet. All of a sudden, it starts flourishing. Some parts turn blue, others turn green. shortly after, the planet turns silver and black, to the way the earth is now. After some though, you start thinking about how Earth was, and how it was created. You tell your mother in great detail about your dream. She freaks out, then threatens to call The Church's Guard on you if you ever have such a thought again. You slink away to your room, and get ready for school. You make your way to school, and tell your friends about your vivid dream. They immediately report you to The Pasteur, who banishes you from the city. A barred van comes to your school, two of The Church's Guards come out, then proceed to take you away. Once the van is out of the vast shining city of Joan of Arc, Colony 1; The Church's Guards throw you out of the van and speed away. From that point, you make it your duty to find out what The Church is hiding and how the earth and all of its life was created.

    .: Places/Objects/People:.

-- 1.) You - You are the main character of the story. Your duty, which was brought upon to you by yourself, is to find out how the earth was created and what The Church is hiding. It is your duty to let the world know about the truth.

-- 2.) Your Mom - Your mom is your only parent, as with all other families. She takes care of you, and you love her. She helps you alot through the story.

-- 3.) The Church - The corrupt form of government and the the center of religion in the world. They are forcing everyone to live by their beliefs and customs.

-- 4.) The Pope - The Pope, Frederick Dunningham, is the leader of The Church. He makes laws and decrees that everyone must follow. He is the great, great grandson of William Dunningham, the creator of the society.

-- 5.) Joan of Arc - these are the colonies, or large cities, through out the world. They are vast, shimmering, and populous. They are numbered, based on the region they are in and when they where created.

-- 6.) The Wasteland - These areas are areas where The Colonies of Matthew once stood, before the Great Disaster occured.

-- 7.) Your House - You house is along the outer ring of Joan of Arc, Colony 1. You make frequent stops here throughout your journey.

-- 8.) Saint John, Branch Seven - This is the school you go to. There are some major secrets that hide underneath the building.

-- 9.) The Bullet Transport - The underground high-speed subway that runs throughout the whole world.

-- 10.) The Invisible Transport - This is a hidden high-speed subway that runs directly underneath the Bullet Transport. It is used by The Refugees to get to other parts of The Wasteland around the world, and some exits lead onto Joan of Arc colonies.

-- 11.) The Refugees - These are people that live in The Wasteland. Most of these people have gone against The Church, so they are forced to live lives of anguish and sorrow.

-- 12.) The Birds - These are devices that emit high-pitched sounds, called chirps. Fast chirping means to wake up (in the morning) or to go to sleep (in the night). They also emit longer, lower pitched chirps when a Refugee tries coming in by one of the main gates, or something is happening to The Pope.

-- 13.) The Ancient Scriptures - These are documents from the ancient civilization before the Pope took his lead. They describe the ancient earth, and all of its ihabitants. You must find all of these to complete the game.

Lol I like it. It is very different and not the type of game thats showcased here lol. It sounds alot like The Fifth Element or something. Merging the future- with relgious beliefs.

How will the game play out? Is it an RPG- like can your character grow in terms of stats- or even battle? or more of an adventure game. Speaking of battles, are they any? I didn't see a mention of a battle system.

Actually, there are many battles. Mostly they are between you and The Church's Guards, but some are from people in The Wasteland. This game is mostly adventuring, but it does have RPG elements such as battles, stats and items. It also does feature some minigames such as lock-picking.

And about the battle system, I am planning out how it is going to work. It isn't going to be a basic turn-based one, though.

Dude, great story. Sounds like it'll be a classic if you finish it. Best of luck.

Yup, you against the Curch is something that's common nowadays in games (Final Fantasy X, Tales of Symphonia). I like those games and I'll probably will be loving your game too, so be sure to continue :)
