Question: Getting Back Into The Pokémon World?

    Hello my name is Adrian and I'm 25. I haven't played pokémon since the red, blue & yellow days. So as you can tell I have been out for a long time. I really want to get back into everything and have started researching the series from the beginning and have looked into what the newest games out are. My mind is blown on how much pokémon have expanded since my last sit down as a fearless pokémon trainer. My questions: Am I to old to fall back in love with Pokémon? Is there any chance I can catch up with all that has happened?
     
    You can totally catch up with Pokemon, Adrian! I've seen plenty do it before. :) I personally recommend diving straight into the latest games, Pokemon X & Y. You'll have the most variety since almost all 718 (big step up from 151, right?) Pokemon are available. You can work your way up through the older games you missed in leisure time, but if I were you, I'd focus on getting into the latest games. It's easier to find people to battle and trade with that way as well.

    Unfortunately though, this forum is for questions about the forum itself, not gaming. However, there's a Q&A thread in Pokemon Gaming Central that these kinds of questions always get asked in. Check that out instead. :)
