4th Gen Getting HG/SS, Should I ??

I have the money to get it, but i really just wanted to know if it is worth the money. HG/SS are the only pokemon games I dont have.


What do you think should I get either one of them???

We can't really decide that for you. What I think is good you may not. However, if you enjoyed Gold, Silver and Crystal, you'll probably like these too. Level Grinding is a pain and the PokéGear calls get annoying, but other than that, I had no complaints.

It's a remake of GSC, but it's way worth the money. It may say HeartGOLD and SoulSILVER but it's actually based more off of crystal.
anyway, its well worth the money despite it just being a remake you can catch more legendaries, get starters from the first three gens, red is even harder than he was in GSC and the Kanto adventure goes just a little more indepth than the original GSC, I think.

Answers above basically cover it. Ideally, if you actually do have all the pokemon games (or leastways the main ones) I assume you're quite into Pokemon and hence should likely enjoy this. Fair bit to do as well - in case you haven't played GSC you get to travel in two regions (which accounts for the seemingly-shorter-than-normal 'inital' part in getting to the elite four compared to other games - in total there's 16 badges!), and there's a bunch of other things to do as well besides the storymode/catching them all e.g. Pokeathlon, Battle Frontier, Safari Zone...plus it comes with the neat PokeWalker.
