4th Gen Getting passed Mahogany Town

I'm having a little trouble getting passed the guy who try's to sell you RageCandyBars. He keeps saying to go see the lighthouse and the pharmacy in Cianwood, but I've been there and nothings happened? Ive beat 7 gym leaders and beat Team Rockets headquarters. What else do I have to do?
