5th Gen Getting Shiny Pokemon

Here are some methods to get shiny Pokemon!



Method 1. SRing

This involves hitting L,R, Start and Select intil a shiny pokemon appears. This is the typical way that people try to get shiny pokemon. even though there is only a 0.000122070312% chance it will be shiny.



Method 2. PokeRadar ONLY GENERATION IV.

by using the pokeradar you achieve chains. the more your chain the higher your chance of a shiny pokemon. when you reach 40 the odds of gettting a shiny are now 1/200 or .5%. after getting 40 however the odds dont ever increasing.



Method 3. Mesuda Method. Breed your pokemon with a pokemon from another region and your odds of that pokemon being shiny are 4x as likely . (it's like 1/2000 something)

This is already widely known, unfortunately and referenced on thousands of guides throughout the Internet so this thread isn't really necessary. Also, this is the Black and White section, so something that relates to gen IV doesn't really affect us.
