I'm almost done getting the national dex in platinum. What kind of progress have you made towards that goal?

Also do you know where I could find a trainer that uses a Prinplup? It's one of the few pokemon I haven't seen yet.

Practical questions of how to go about achieving this goal are welcome as well.

i thik if u battled all the battlers,u can seen all of the dex that needed!

Well, I don't have the plat guidebook, but in the D/P one it says there's a trainer on route 212 with a prinplup. I dunno, but that trainer might still be there in plat.

I already checked that type of thing. The pokemon the trainers have in D/P and in platinum are different.

In fact I checked that specific trainer.

Here I found it on another thread Route 212 - Trainer battle
    Hope it helps =D
As I said I checked route 212 already. I battled everyone there.

The person who has a Prinplup in D/P has a Monferno in Platinum.

EDIT: Actually I might be getting 212 confused with another route.
Never mind, I battled pokemon ranger Jeffery and everyone else on that route.

True, but it's much faster if you battle only the battlers that you need to.

Not really, because then to continue the game after the E4, you have to go find the Pokemon that you would have seen if you battled the trainer. And most of which are pretty rare and hard to find. It would take less time to fight a trainer with a rare Pokemon 30 times over and over again then to find the Pokemon wild. Also, by battling the trainers your Pokemon are at higher levels and you are able to fight and win against the trainers you have to fight quicker, and you won't need to train in the grass as much.

There is a trainer with a Prinplup on the Route to the south of Hearthome. Just battle everyone on the route and you will find it.

Edit: I hate when my computer lags. When I clicked post, there was only one other post. XD My computer sucks.

It's a pain to get but thanks to google i'll manage.
