    Hello all.

When I am playtesting my game through RPG Maker XP, using the kit, I am getting a weird black outline on all rocks and buildings. Can someone please explain what is going on?

    Thanks

What layer are the tiles on? Transparent areas on tiles will appear black in-game if they're on the first layer. You want to stick them on the second or third layer with some random filler tile underneath them on the first layer.

The city is supposed to be on a mountain, and so im using the hilly rocky mountain edges. I assumed those would go on the first layer though... Am I wrong?

    Thanks

1°) filler, like stupid grass for paths.
    2°)houses, tree
3°)You use this to place things over others, like trees over walls .

If you're talking about the tiles I think you're talking about, the ones with brown shadows can be used on Layer 1, but the ones with the sort of blue-ish shadows and clear areas have to be on Layer 2 or Layer 3.
