I believe there are such things as ghosts, but they dont "haunt" people... maybe like a religon-science answer.. like angels and demons by dan brown!:D

OMG, that book was sooooo freakin' popular after his Da Vinci Code hit it big! I remember when I was still working in Books-A-Million, we sold 'em so fast we couldn't keep enough in stock to meet demand. And the Da Vinci Code stayed on the top of the charts forever too! I haven't read either, but I've heard a lot about them from very enthusiastic customers, lol.

Really, I can't say if ghosts exist or not, simply because I choose not to disbelieve in something just because I haven't seen it. But at the same time, I have a hard time believing that a "soul" could get lost. If you add religion to the equation (I hope this doesn't start a religious debate x_x) it's like saying that whoever's in charge of the souls (God in Christianity and Judaism, Enma-sama in Shinto, etc...) makes mistakes with them. :P So I tend to think that you can believe in one, but not the other. And I choose not to say which I believe in more strongly, for fear of being flamed, lol.
 
It's not that I believe in them 100% but I sort of can say I believe anything goes. I mean sure most people will screw up photos for a little attention seeking << and some times people will make a big deal out of a simple error in printing or a light and quickly assume they took a picture of a ghost but there are unexplained happenings of all sorts so why not?

I could however say one time while I was half asleep in my bedroom my feet were sticking out of the end of the covers and I felt something extremely cold tug on them. I got up and looked around but didn't see anyone. I went outside to the living room and everyone was asleep and my sister and brother were not home that night. So I really donnu what to tell ya 'bout that.

I belive in ghosts but i never saw one , maybe later i get some chance :)
 
some of the pictures linked to on P1 look a lot like two photos were taken on the same film... they don't look too convincing. i don't believe in ghosts. at least not in a human form. spirits don't take on human shape...
 
all of the ghosts i've seen have taken on a human shape. does anyone know how to get rid of ghosts?

Oh, that's easy! Just call the ghostbusters! Geez, I thought everyone knew thaaaat! *lol*

J/K. It would depend, really. On the one hand, what one person believes to be a ghost could actually be nothing more than imagination, schizophrenia, or just plain mistaken identity. And to get rid of any of the three would be a difficult thing to do. I don't want to pretend to know how to answer that one.

As far as REAL ghosts are concerned, well, you could always try to have them exorcised by a priest, but I'm not sure if it would work or not. Y'see, priests are supposed to perform exorcisms on demons, not ghosts. So I don't know how that would work out. Anyway, it all sounds like something out of a movie for me... now which movie did they perform that Exorcism in....?
 
I have voted maybe, but I have seen things who looks like ghosts near the church where I live, and I won't think it was real.
 
this is such a very controversial topic. i believe in ghosts and the supernatural, but i won't post stories--you'd have to PM me for that! simply because of all the skeptics and the "die hard ghost believers", i wouldn't want this thread to get out of hand, i think its a good one. i have heard stories of se'ances by my friends, and of oujia board stories as well, but it's so hard to seperate the bs from reality, i choose not to believe it unless it is personal experience...
 
I find the existence of ghosts possible. Personally, I cannot recall having seen one. But, simply that would not prove that they do not exist.
 
I have seen some real videos, like one of a kid that was killed, then when the mom was crying in the video said with the same voice, It hurts momy.

And where those the existence stay if you cant sleep in peace?
 
I definately believe in ghosts. I've had friends and family see them before, and I've watched ghost shows and been on websites and such. I'm in love with the idea of ghosts and have been all my life. I really want to see one for myself. I'm a ghost freak. XP
 
Well one time, when I was in bed (not asleep), I saw some sort of dark figure just standing there (it was pretty tall).

I thought I was just dreaming it so I went to sleep!!!

I have seen a little light sphere that moves like crazy, it insnt a light bulb
 
2 years ago i see one ghost in the house of my uncle, it was a dark figure very tall with 2 yellow eyes siting in a desk , when i saw him i freeze, then the ghost look at me and jump to the wall and disapear. this is why i belive in ghosts

ow and zero ex, that little sphere that you see are witches, my cousin see 2 one he was in a forest at night with some friends, but i dont really belive him at all, anyway it could be real

I sometimes believe, sometimes not XP
But i had this friend how i know he was a liar because everyday he told me " hey i saw a ghost while i was on the stairs of my house " and he told me other storys but i was like " yeah right, liar"
 
I think ghosts are real. I've seen one.

When I was three years old, i seen someone and disgribed him to my grandma. I disgribed my grandpa EXACTLY and i've never seen a picture of him before. And he died 10 years before I was born.
