If you mean Ash and Angie, it's Morpheusshipping. Don't ask me why it's called that, I really don't know XD Me, Lornami and SoraNoHana prefer calling it Natsushipping though haha

sort of like the river sticks (hope I spelled that right)?
Serious possibility: Maybe it wasn't "The Spirit World" but actually the entrance to the reverse world from the movie. Besides, in Platinum you enter the reverse world on Mt. Coronet (or so I've come to understand).
Other possibility: Maybe the girl was Casper's sister and wanted someone to play with!

I think that the Spirit World was actually done since they changed it when the Pokedex entry in Japan made a refrence to a place that bad people go when they die. So when the game became english they had to change the word to Spirit World.

I assumed it meant something like the next world...but even PUSA didn't want to say it explicitly. After all, death doesn't exist in the pokemon world...

wat deaths? Ash got turned into stone but revived by tears... May Brock Max Ash and TR got sucked into white blood cells of a giant mutant tree but came back completely unharmed two minutes later.Then I guess those deaths in the movies don't count then? :P

There were pokémon that died in the movies. For example, Lucario died. A pretty anti-climatic death sure but still a death.

Haha I liked this episode. There were a few gem moments. For example:
*Little girl flies away backwards*
Me: Creeeepy.

Me: Really? ...Really? He just kinda...sticks out his arm...whatever
Oh and when Brock gave the ghost Pokemon food, my first thought was "I'm going to LAUGH when food doesn't solve all of his problems." Then Dusknoir didn't eat the food (and I laughed).

A tree died in Tree's a Crowd. I was traumatised for years.
Too bad 4Kids doesn't run the show anymore, as we can say "Shadow Realm"! Bah. Silly PUSA.

I hereby decree that anyone who now dies in the anime is to be taken to the Shadow Realm. This is an excuse, so I can say, "Shadow Realm." The Mod commands it! Heh.
Nah, it didn't make me cry, but I am a little peeved about her absence, particularly as she was so interesting. Oh, well. Sighs.
