    I don't mean by image editing. What I need is to write a script that can resize a GIF in-game to a 1:2 scale. Does anyone know if this is possible and if so perhaps help me out? Much appreciated in advance,

    If you wanted to resize the whole game screen in general, so every thing is resized to 1:2 scale then yes there's scripts for thoughts around but if it's just one thing then it would probably be best to resize the image/GIF outside the game using Photoshop or another program
    What is it exactly you want to resize?

    I wish to resize some Animated Pokemon GIFs in battle and in the pokedex. The current ones I have in 1x size show a black background when animating.

    You have to edit some scripts like PokeBattle_ActualScene, PokemonSummary and PokemonPokedex.. finding the pokemonsprite and adding the method
    Code:
    .zoom_x=2
    .zoom_y=2
