Hey everyone, im at Giratina. I heard from a lot of people, that Giratina is standing in a cemetary. It doesnt look like a graveyard...but anyway. Any suggestions on how to catch him? Im havin a lot of trouble. I never had this much trouble with legendaries on this game yet.

Bring a High level Flying Pokemon that is both Normal/Flying and weaken him from there. I caught him in a Nest Ball.

Bring a Flying/Normal pokemon and use Dusk Balls.

I threw so many ultra balls, 3 timer balls, 1 quick ball, (at the right times ill say) dusk balls, pokeballs, great balls. I threw a few pokeballs and they did better then like 20 ultra balls. Why lol?

You can also bring an Ghost/Dark type with the Levitate ability. (If Saybleye has that ability). Or an old fashion Ghost type.

Bring a lvl 100 dragon type with dragon claw and it will lower giratinas health badly but might not kill it. Also use dusk balls. I used a lvl 100 sceptile that knew dragon claw and caught it with a dusk ball.

Those strategies all work well. If you have a Masterball use it, but I doubt you do or you would not be asking this. So a strategy that worked for me is getting its health in the low red, and put as many status conditions on it as you can. Then throw dusk balls.

give me your FC and i can give you a Master Ball. just grab a filler Pokémon. :D

I caught my Giratina with a timer ball.

I lowered it down to 1 HP and threw about 3 quick balls, 15 ultra balls, 30 dusk balls, 26 timer balls. On my 27th timer ball it was caught. I guess it has something to do with the date of my b-day: month: 01(1hp) / day: 27th(27 timer balls) :D who knew.

yeah, but when i went up against it, it hardly used it. plus, as long as your Flying type knows Roost, you should be fine. :D

Dusk Balls all the way. Heatran was more trouble for me than any others.
