2nd Gen Glitch City?

i was checking the tips for Newbies and when it talked about cheating,
i saw something about glitch city

what is glitch city? i have never heard of it before

Well first off this is how to get there: To get there go into the Safari Zone and go up to the house then back down out of the Safari Zone and say No to the question. Then go back out again and say No. Then save your game and turn it off. Then turn it back on and go out of the Safari Zone. This time the man won't ask you the question. Keeping going down until he asks you if you want to go in. Say No and go out the door. Next go to Cinnibar City and keep surfing on the coast for a little while then you'll hear Pa say Ding Dong. Then you will be tranported to the Safari Zone. Then go out and you'll be in Glitch City. You can catch high level Tentacools and Tentacruel here, and you can surf of the ground. But be careful, you can get trapped in here, well FOREVER. to get out just Fly out with one of your Pokemon.

glitch city???its one of the glitch in R/B its like a city but filled with numbers and colors and you cant actually go into one of the houses because it will ruin your game(that's my experience though)

As a side note to add to Papa Doc's post, you can also go to different places in order to produce different Glitch Cities. For example, Cinnabar Island may have one Glitch City, but if you go to Seafoam, you can encounter another one, and on Cycling Road, you can access a Glitch City in which you'll always have the tendency to move downward. It's also not unusual to encounter an extremely small Glitch City in which the avatar is surrounded by solid objects as soon as he leaves the "Safari Zone."

Yeah...But be careful about entering Glitch Cities....If you interact with the wrong object(Ex:enter a house) at the wrong time you could really corrupt the save file...or worse...Slightly corrupt all the data on the game pack thus rendering the game unplayable unless you use a GB Gameshark to warp you to another location....(Sometimes Glitch City will corrupt data and not trigger the auto save eraser that keeps the game from being unpayable...In some cases it can be disabled by doing certain things within glitch city...Like you can walk through certain walls in the E4 and access certain rooms that were removed from the game...but they are usually empty or full of objects you cannot interact with because they will corrupt your saved data...And in certain parts of certain glitch cities If you have a missingno in your party it will crash and you will lose your save data...
All of this was my Experiences with glitch cities...
