3rd Gen glitch

    i found a glitch today =) not a big one ... might not be a glitch either .... i was training my tentacool (trying to fill my pokedex on ruby iits the same ruby i tried to do a liquid glitch on ) it leveled up and i was asked if i wanted him to learn wrap i said no he then evolved and i was asked the same thing!! .... or is thay suppose to happen?... didn't happen when i evolved my sandshrew it just asked afterwards ...
     
    No, this is not a glitch. Both Tentacool and Tentacruel learn wrap at level 30, so when Tentacool reached level 30, it would ask if you wanted to learn wrap. Then when it evolved into Tentacruel, seeing as it would be level 30, it would again ask if you'd like to learn wrap. This may make it clearer; It wouldn't have happened if you had waited untill Tentacool was level 31 and then evolved it, because you would have had a level 31 Tentacruel instead of a level 30 Tentacruel.     If you have a FireRed/LeafGreen and Gameshark....

    ...there is a cool glitch called ??????? requireing puting in the Instant Male/Female Egg codes. Go to four island and take the egg, not 4 and bad egg. let it hatch and presto. Doesn't kill game unless you trade it to Emerald and give it rare candies cuz it'll learn a million ice punchs. If you don't, you could learn Hm's

    EDIT: Also, if you go to 2 island's move tutor, you can learn glitch moves and moves such as -(no freeze), bind, consrtict, etc. It depends on what moves ??????? have. e.g, if secmiss toss is learned, you can learn consririct. Happy glitcher

    And since Motsuko Live explained why this phenomenon occurred, I see no reason to keep this open anymore. It'll only attract more off-topic posts.
