Brock's Happiny is there for comedy relief.
And just happens to be pure epicness aswell.
Yeah, most Happiny are pathetic. Just like most Chansey and Blissey (minus that one that was friends with Jessie. TR Bliss ftw!).
Not saying that family's pathetic. They're, in fact, some of the strongest competitive pokemon around! Chansey is probably the only nfe pokemon in UU. Although I think Scyther might be aswell

Pretty sure its just Brocks's one, otherwise everybody would have one and they'd be one of the best Pokemon in the whole anime world.
Although the Togepi in 'The Worst Togepi in History' comes pretty close to Happiny-level power.

in the new episode, dawn's buneary freezes a lake full of water and happiny picks it up with it's tiny pink arms and lifts it above it's head/body and throws it off the side of a mountain!!! an entire lake!!!

I always found the cute bruiser character quite charming so I was really happy when they decided to have Happiny as that character. It comes of well most of the time I think though there are times where I have to remember that this isn't real since it's like "What the ****?" (Especially when she picked up the frozen lake).
