Going through any pokemon game without evolving any of your pokemon?

So, has anyone tried beating any pokemon game without evolving your pokemon? If so, how'd it go?

Well, I haven't tried doing that yet but I plan to. I'm going to try this with Pokemon Emerald and Leafgreen, starting with Emerald.

It's impossible for me to accomplish this. I just can't see myself winning the Elite 4 with a level 100 Charmander.

It's possible, but barely anyone wants to do it. I myself think that alternate Pokemon runs are cooler.
