    Hello everyone,

I am wondering if someone can help me out!

I have no knowledge in Pokémon card! I bought couple pack of Pokémon card to my son (8yo) and apparently he trade them to an unknown person and he got home with around 50 gold card. I am a little bit skeptical I feel something is not right here the kid is ultra happy but I don't have a good feeling. You know when it's too good to be true it's probably because it is not true!!
Some card has number like 043/185 and others nothing.

if someone can tell me if he got scammed?

Moved your post to its own thread.

I assume you're talking about the same kind of gold cards mentioned in this thread, which are indeed fake. I'm not sure what those kind of cards go for, but as long as none of the real cards were super rare and your kid is happy with the gold cards and is just collecting instead of battling (particularly in official duels), I don't see any harm in it.
