4th Gen Gold comparison

I personally prefer old Gold. Its the body type that bothers me. Godl went from being relatively stocky and muscular to being thin and weak. That doesnt seem Goldish. Gold is always the one getting into mischeif and being athletic. no reason he should be scrawny. I ahve a better comparison picture (Its in attachement form)

The white collar isn't much an overkill for Gold. It makes the image more finished, besides without the collar, the top f his shirt or hoodie might have looked a bit to simple with the feel of something missing.
I meant the new one the red triangle one. Way too tacky imo but what can we do. Also now thats a good photo for comparison thanks dude!

Comparing the new pics, I agree that they should have kept the more muscular Gold. I mean have you seen the different leg size comparison?

No, Todoroki doesn't mean the white collar, He means the one right under it.

I can't lie: The new Gold is sexy. I love how they changed his hair, too. It looks so smooth.

The undercollar could have been left out I agree.

^The new Gold looks more natural if that is what you mean.

I agree, the new one is much better (then again, when was the old one made? :\ The art is going to look better now. :\) The only thing I dislike about the new one is the trousers (yes, I'm British. XD) Apart from that, I love the new one. (Though I also agree, the new one does look a bit puny...:()

They really improved I can tell you that. I think that the remake is already better than the old version of the game but I am not going to go ahead and make that a statement.

I like the older Gold more, but there aren't that many noticeable changes (I didn't see the differences until I saw the pics in fullview), so I guess he's still awesome.

Well, for anyone who still dislikes the new Gold, go take a gander at Lucas (DP &PT) and Brendan.

You will love the new Gold after.

I personally <3 new Gold completely. xD Especially the pants.

I just think that his jacket should've been a bit baggier. He seems too thin.

The pants, I'm starting to get used to. They should have kept the rough edge and muscular appearance to him, but this could have been a different artist drawing Gold rather than the original artist who drew the older Gold.

Comparing how the boy character looked in G/S than how he looks in Heart Gold, I like how he looks in Heart Gold. He just seems to be more better looking. Yeah the pants is a little weird looking on him because he's a little skinnier, but he's okay.

I wanna know how gold and lucas look the same.

Seriously what the hell? Nothing alike

Actually, I think they look pretty much exactly alike, just in different clothes and with their hands in a different position. :-/

I prefer Gold as a sturdier, more athletic-looking person with the original shorts and without the new goofy look on his face, but that's just me...and I don't really pay much attention to the sprites anyway. XD The new design is fine, I just prefer the old one.

They modernized him, but he looks essentially the same.

I personally like the old Gold better, but the new one is just as cool looking. :)

It's a shame that rather than renewing the style they changed everything GSC to DPPt style :(
Really, look better. Looks like someone else's work.
I liked GSC style. Gold looked like a teenager, now it is a kid. Eyes and body shape are better in the old style IMO.

Personally, I think they've done a great job redesigning Jimmy(Gold). He looks a lot better, this way. :3

And for you guys still complaining, Gold only looks like that because Sugimori has drastically changed his style.

The style does not reflect the character, he's still the same guy except drawn differently and with new clothes.

Get that through your heads, please.
