- Chose a Totodile (Named him Ordairu, Feraligatr's japanese name)
- Got Mystery Egg from Mr. Pokemon and Pokedex from Prof. Oak
- Fought rival's Chikorita and beat it easily (Totodile lvl.9)
- Named Rival "Weird"
- Caught Pidgey (HM Slave, HM02)
- Got HM5 (Flash) from guy on top of Sprout Tower
- Beat Falkner (lvl. 16 Totodile)
- Got Egg from Prof. Elm's Assistant in Violet City PokéCenter
- Caught Mareep (HM Slave, HM05)
- Totodile evolved to Croconaw (lvl. 18, obviously xP)
- Caught Rattata in Union Cave (HM Slave, HM01)
- Beat Team Rocket in Slowpoke's Well and caught a Slowpoke (lvl.6)
- Beat Bugsy, and got the Hive Badge.
- Beat Rival again, and went to Ilex Forest.

i would have preferd ice, but whatever...
ok, started a new game in silver, got chikorita, got pokedex from oak, beat rival, went to violet city, did the bellsprout tower, beat the first two trainers in the gym, beat another pidgey and weedle. chicorita evolved into bayleef and i was able to fight falkner now.

he wasnt hard, i beat him on the first attempt. 2HKO'd pidgey with tackle and won somehow against pidgeotto with poison, reflect and tackle. afterwards, i got the togepi egg and immediately deposited it.

- Reached Goldenrod City
- Egg hatched, deposited Togepi in Bill's PC
- Went to National Park to train a bit
- Defeated Whitney and got the Plain Badge
- Caught Sudowoodo, just to keep it in the PC (since he's only once in the game, lol)
- Beat the girls at Ecruteak Dance Theatre and got HM03, Surf (Thaught it to Croconaw)
- Went to Burned Tower and beat Rival
- Defeated Morty and got the Fog Badge

- Went to Olivine City and got the Good Rod
- Went back to Route 35 and caught a lvl. 20 Poliwag
- Went back to Olivine City and talked to Jasmine on top of the Lighthouse
- Went to Cianwood City and got SecretPotion
- Defeated Chuck, got the Storm Badge, and won HM02 (Fly)
- Withdrew Pidgey and taught him Fly
- Flew back to Olivine City, gave the SecretPotion to Jasmine
- Defeated Jasmine and got the Mineral Badge

I prefer emulators, because you can speed the game up. XD;
I'm going to be doing the run on an emulator, because I checked my cartridge and I've got a Mew on there. XD; So yeah. :3 Will start tonight! :D


EDIT: Okay, I've played for a little while, and here is my progress so far. :3

- Chose my gender (female, duh), named myself 'Kiarra'.
- Picked Chikorita at Elm's Lab, nicknamed him 'Parsley'.
- Headed to Mr. Pokemon's place, got the call from Elm.
- Battled the rival and won. :D
- Named my rival 'Kierran'. <- Creative, I know. XD
- Got Pokeballs at last! :D Captured a Pidgey ('Gideon'), and a Sentret ('Terra').
- Journeyed north towards Violet City, battling the trainers.
- Arrived in Violet City, stocked up on Pokeballs and went into Dark Cave to stalk out a Teddiursa.
- Caught Teddiursa (Jiro) within fifteen minutes of searching. :D
- Trained my team until all three were level 9.
- Went to Sprout Tower, Terra fainted a lot because her Tackle attack missed more often than it should have. D:
- Won HM05 from the Elder, went to the gym.
- Beat Falkner and his trainers pretty easily.
- Received the egg from Elm's aide.
- Completed the first Ruins of Alph 'puzzle' and used an Escape Rope in that chamber to make the doorway appear.
- Headed towards Union Cave, fighting everyone on the way~
- Had fun using Jiro's Lick on the Hikers' Rock Pokemon. >_>;
- Emerged from the cave with everyone still relatively healthy. :D

And that's where I've stopped... Going to try and sneak past the Hiker with the Geodude/Machop and get into Azalea to heal before challenging him. ^_^

- defeated some trainers and oddish evolved into gloom
- won the bug catcher contest after several attempts (with a scyther <3) and got a sun stone
- got rid of sudowoodo
- beat eevolution girls and rival in ecruteak
- fought my way to olivine and through the lighthouse
- beat morty.

Exeggcute killed the Gastly and the Haunters with Confusion. it might have killed Gengar as well, but i didnt want to risk being KOd by Shadow Ball, so i put it asleep with Weepinbell, switched to Skiploom and Leech Seeded it, switched back to Weepinbell and used some vine whips. Ages later, Gengar woke up. It used Hypnosis, i use an awakening to avoid Dream Eater, it uses hypnosis again, i use sleep powder and it dies some rounds later to vine whip/leech seed.

- caught a krabby to use it as surf slave
UPDATE:
- surfed to cianwood and beat chuck (sleep powder+ exeggcutes confusion on primeape, same strategy against poliwrath, i fail and exeggucte dies, i leech use skiploomn for sleep+ leech seed, switch to gloom, when poliwrath is almost dead, it wakes up, uses hynosis and dies to leech seed.

- went to mahagony, skiploom evolved somewhere on the way
- did the whole lake of rage quest
- beat price (sleep+bayleefs razor leaf (most powerful grass attack in my team) on everything)

- beat jasmin (sleep+leech seed on everything, nothing else helped much)

- caught a tangela
- currently trying to chase the rockets of the radio tower, all those poison types give me a hard time

- Challenged the Goldenrod Gym and won by the skin of my teeth. XD (Quick Attack ftw).
- Second egg hatched into Igglybuff ('Lydia').
- Deposited Lydia and withdrew Quentin.
- Bought Firepunch and Icepunch TMs.
- Did some grinding, to make my team's levels more balanced.
- Headed north towards National Park, beating everyone along the way.
- Entered the Bug Catching Contest and won with a Pinsir.

ok, i beat lance now.

first, i trained my team to lv. 44 and evolved gloom.
then i went into the e 4.
will wasnt too hard, only his xatus gave some trouble.
koga was hard, i needed 2 attempts because crobat managed to set up some double teams and sweep without getting a hit at first.
bruno was piece of cake.
karen was quite funny. on the 1st attempt, houndoom swept through my whole team. 2nd attempt. she sends out houndoom, i send meganium. houndoom uses flamethrower. meganium burns and houndoom survives earthquake. i use (my only) full restore. houndoom uses flamethrower again and meganium burns again >_>. but meganium defeated it somehow.
lance was hard too. The Blizzard Dragonite killed the half of my team. luckily, both other dragonites died fast and meganium did some hax and paralyzed both aerodactyl and charizard on the first strike with body slam (revenge for houndooms luck in the previous fight =D). At the end, i had only tangela left with 11hp, his last dragonite (the blizzard one, he had switched after it ran out of blizzards) had to recharge, i use thief, it loses the little amount of hp it had remaining and i won.
