4th Gen Gold/Silver Scary Story

    You know how in the originals they put Red (The main hero from Generation 1) as the game's final boss? Well what if in heartgold and soulsilver, if you play as the male (Gold) you fight Red at the end, but if you chose the girl (Soul) you have to fight the female hero from firered/leafgreen??? Wouldn't that be a let down for the people who will play as Soul?

    Edit: This was just a CRAZY thought and it kinda scared me at first... in a weird way, anyway... I want Red in 100%... It would ruin the games for me if he wasn't in them... To me Red is the trademark trainer for the series! (At least the Generation 1 version Red)

    Im sorry but what made you think of that?? That just doesn't make sense. But as you can tell i would absolutely hate that!!!!!
     
    Dude, don't even kid like that. That would be horrible. I don't want to fight a Leaf! I want to fight the color Red! :pink_no: I want to play as the girl knowing I'll fight Red. He's the one character I'm looking forward to battling the most.
     
    Yeah, I never actually got to the Red battle in Gold or Silver so I am really looking forward to that a lot!
     
    Wow...That is an interesting idea. I mean I wouldn't mind fighting Blue but really I think since this is a remake. I would prefer to fight against Red. He was like the ultimate Trainer to battle at the end of the game or any of the games so it kind of be a turn down if I didn't get to battle him.

    Still I would like to see Blue to be part of the games some how. Still I don't think I would like to battle her in the end.
     
    I really don't think they'll make the girl trainers fight Blue. I think you'll get to fight Red no matter which character you choose to play as. But even if they DID have the girl trainers fight against Blue instead, wouldn't they have to give Blue the same, ultra-powerful pokemon too? So it will be fair to both the girl and boy trainers?

    But really I believe we'll all be fighting Red. ^_^

    I think they'll leave Red in there, seems sort of weird to put any other character at Mt. Silver, given that this game takes place after Red/Fire Red Green/Leaf Green
     
    I don't think that'll happen either. I almost had a heart attack when I saw Red ten years ago in Silver. I want to almost have another heart attack when I see him in SoulSilver! (even though I'll be totally expecting it this time and I won't be a n00b)
     
    Just a thought! I would WWWAAAYYY 100% want Red to be in no matter what!

    Yeah that would be cool and hopefully if they do that they will have high leveled pokes
     
    Way to come off pretty sexist there. No, I don't want to battle her, but you don't have to mention it so rudely. I wouldn't be that let down. I'm pretty sure Red will be there. He's too iconic to be replaced with Leaf, and since that's the battle everyone seems to be waiting on, I don't think GameFreak will disappoint.
     
    It would be interesting to see Leaf appear somewhere in the game, perhaps as a high level opponent either faced at some point before Red, or encountered in another area such as contests or Battle Tower. The game designers have went in the direction of giving the unused player characters in-game roles, so perhaps Leaf can get in on this.

    No, I'm sorry the only way to get this point across is to say it rudely. You wouldn't be let down? Well I would be. Replace Red and I'll print a screenshot of Leaf and use it to wipe myself after I take a nature break.

    I don't see the big deal if its Red or Leaf. I wouldn't care either way, as long as its a challenge then I'm fine with it.

    aaaaaaaaahhhahahahahahahahahahah yeah they definitely can't use Leaf cuz that would:

    First: Ruin the game
    and
    Second: Be totally sexist towards all female trainers

    LOL @ that story of yours. I laughed when you said "slaps again for not answering," LOL! Finally you've said ***** (a bad word), I was starting to think your parents had a program on the computer that detects if you type a swear word and will log you out and close your login account for a month.
