Hullo everyone.

So, I decided to have a whack at fake cards, so I decided to make a remake of the first card I ever got, a Dark Charmeleon from the Team Rocket set. Please rate.

I'm going to have another go at some other things soon. See attachment for my card.

Hah, hey that's not bad! I know...not much about making fake cards, but that looks interesting. I remember having one, and this one looks quite a bit different from it, but I think you should try making the energy card signs blend in more. nice job altogether

When filling out a Dark card, use white text. Your fonts are also off. I reccomend Gill Sans Condensed Bold for the Pokemon & attack names and Gill Sans for attack effects.

See how your text looks all pixely? There is a way to fix that: Right-click on your desktop and go to Properties. When the Display Properties box pops up, click on the Appearance tab. Once there, click the Effects... button. In the Effects box, make sure the 2nd check box is checked (if it isn't, check it). Under that, where you see Standard, click the arrow next to that and change it to ClearType then hit OK. Now when you try to type text onto a card, it will appear smoother.

Sweet, thanks for the advice and feedback, I really appreciate it. So, should I keep with the EX kind or perhaps move onto D/P? I'll try and redo it, and then try Dark Charizard. Thanks once more.

As for sticking with ADV or moving on to DP, that's really up to you. Which cards do you like the looks of most? Which cards are easier for you to fake? Personally, I like ADV cards because it's easier to place the energy symbols. Of course, with the proper tutorials, both can be pretty easy.
