I like Golden Sun 2 Better! But... Golden Sun 1 is cool too. Please post on how far you got on eather G.S.1 or G.S.2 Thank you

On each of them i'm stuck by the doom dragons :dead:

Golden Sun started it all, it was amazing...it is in my opinion the best handheld RPG to this date. Golden Sun 2 came out and it was just as good, but nothing was really new...but still it was well worth it to see my GS1 characters again with their items.

I have the clear data for both games...and I also have every item in both games, and every djin...

I hope the clear data from 2 is a sign of a third game...

I like more Golden sun one. Better story. But in golden sun 2 there are more summons.

I have finished both games 100% clear includng with sharron, Irs and wioth the ring that take out the demon effects.

I like them both pretty equally, the storylines matched eachother well, and by starting off with a new team on GS2, it kept the feeling of a new journey, while getting your old team back near the end erased the hate of feeling like your previous journey was a complete waste.

I own both. I enjoyed Golden Sun very much, it's one of my favourites. I've yet to start Golden Sun 2 though for some reason. *is lazy*

GS1 was great but GS2 was a bit disapointing IMO. It just seemed pretty boring compared to GS1 but yea it think golden sun is a very good game.

I heard they were making a GC version of golden sun after they released lost age but not much has been said about it sinse.

I liked both equally. The're both the Best Handheld RPG ever.

I like Golden Sun 2 better, main;y bacause they are more dijins(don't know if I spelled it right...:\)and summons, and spells, and I like the charaters, Golden Sun 1 is still cool though.:)

I beat the first one, but I never quite got around to beating the last boss in the second one. Still a great game, though. A sequel would be nice. It'd be nice to bring back Alex, his role ended in a rather disappointing fashion.

I like golden sun 1 more, I like the musics, story, places and djinni in golden sun 1 better golden sun 2 is good too I just love Jenna's battle theme the doom dragon music is the best music ever made for gba games.

I liked both but I'd go with Golden Sun 2 because it was just more entertaining I guess o.0

I'd definitely rate the second part above the first. Its story totally changed the meaning of the first part, you finally got to see the whole of Weyard on the map, the locations were far more diverse, more classes and equipment were available, fighting with any combination of heros is always fun, and the whole thing lasted longer. I prefered the characters too; with Felix and Piers there, they weren't all kids, which added a bit of variety. Characters like Kraden, Alex and Hama, who hadn't had so much of a part in the first game (except possibly Kraden), were used to better effect.

As for how far through I am; I've beaten all but Dullahan.

I prefer the second game to the first, it had more variety in party setup, which was a plus for me.

I've beaten both games, and I've got to say that these are two of the best RPGs on the GBA ever.

I prefer gs 2 for all 0f you but do NOT buy gs 2 without gs 1 'cause it'll wreck all of the fun and you won't know how to play well. So please buy gs 1 before gs2 THANKIES!

Hee. I actually played Golden Sun 2 before the first game, because I didn't know that they were connected, storyline-wise. Silly me. I like the second game better mostly because I'm not too fond of Garet, Mia or Ivan. Isaac's cool, but Felix's team is much more likable, to me.

I have both games and I'm quite a way into GS1. To be honest though I'm finding it a bit dull, and I'm a huge RPG fan. :/
