Good Azelf moveset?

    Is this a good moveset for my Azelf?

    Azelf @Life Orb
    EVs: 36 Atk / 220 Spd / 252 SAtk
    Naive Nature
    -Psychic
    -Flamethrower
    -Nasty Plot
    -Explosion

    I wanted to use Explosion in a set without having to use Chioce Specs. So combined a Nasty Plot set with a Choice Specs set to get this more flexable Nasty Plot, Explosion set.
     
    hmm weird i wouldnt really use azelf and i dont know about it ill research and see

    Meh. You might as well take advantage of azelfs killer SAtk and nasty plot, I'd just take out explosion.
     
    I guess Energy Ball could replace Explosion. But I had it for Blissey so I wouldn't have to switch out to a physical sweeper, and risk a thunder wave...

    I think i'll use the set.

    Maybe so...I just don't like the idea of sacrificing a pokemon to take out another. Surely there is a better option? Blissey is evil, but even it can't stand up to azelf after3 nasty plots, though that is unlikely.
     
    I'd keep explosion, 500 attack power ko's basically anything.

    Skarmory...really though, if people expect it, they'll switch into skarm or their steel and absorb it like candy.

    Good point. I prefer scouting for blissey, eliminating it (which is easier said than done usually) and use azelf as a late-game sweeper. That works...if you want to use explosion, fine, it works. I just prefer other things is all.
     
    The use is Explosion is risky, true. But with good prediction it can pay off big...

    And anyways, i'm not here to argue about if you like to use explosion, I needed to see if it was OK to use it on Azelf. It really depends on the trainer.

    Yeah...but it takes care of blissey, so it works.

    That's what the special moves are for...you should only use explosion when necessary.
