3rd Gen Good Pokemon Team for FR

in FR you can't get a crobat before you get national pokedex?

i have beat the elite 4 whit :

Starter
Alakazam
Garyados
Gengar
Jolteon
Chansey
 
I beat Elite 4 with: Pinsir and Butterfree. They aren't hard just use: Fighting type against Lorelei. Psychic against Agatha and Bruno. Rock Slide will eliminate Lance with ease. Then just wipe out your rival.

Don't over think.
 
it depends on if you can trade or not if you can definately get alakazam(agatha and bruno easy knock out) and a Lapras would do wonders against Brunos onix's and lance's dragon pokemon. A machamp would be really helpful against gary considering he has a rhydon and machamp can single handedly take down lorelei and will be a great help the second time against her and gary's tyranitar. Starter pokemon whichever it is will be a good role in this too id prefer charizard just to balance the team out a bit. A butterfree is a great choice because of its status effects it can cause with 100% accuracy with compound eyes its a great added effect. the the last should cover up other types not covered like maybe electabuzz or jolteon depending on what you want spd or power to beat those water types. its a good decision one way or another.
 
I suggest try using this team.

1. Dewgong
2. Riachu
3. Venasaur
4. Pidgeot
5. Alakazam or Gengar
6. Gyarados or your choice for a 6th pokemon. ;]

I did a speedrun of them, beat them all with blastoise.
 
mine was :
1st pkmn league
Charizard, Dragonite, Gloom, Electabuzz, Gengar

2nd pkmn league (not much difference)
charizard, dragonite, sunflora, electivire.. lol, just kidding, electabuzz, gengar, tyranitar

i did not want a water type cause you wont use it much anyway.. when you battle bruno, you may want to use ice beam from dragonite to his' onix and psychic from gengar to the rest....
