4th Gen Got Super IVs for my Eevee?

    Hey, This is my first pkmncommunity post.
    I was breeding some eevees and I got one with awesome IVs... I think.
    I'd like to know how rare it is to get these and how accurate they are since it's only level 17, and also I was thinking of making him umbreon since he's sassy, but I'm not sure.. would another evolution benefit more from what it has? I took a screenshot of the calculator i used with the values but I dont know how to post it.

    Eevee lvl 17 (AND IT's FEMALE)

    Possible DVs:
    HP 26-31
    Atk 26-31
    Def 25-31
    Spd 26-31
    Spec Atk 28-31
    Spec Def 29-31


    What do you think? what are the chances of getting these IVs AND a Female at that? (Female is rare for Eevees)
     
    ...Nonexistant. Literally. The chances of that are lower than getting a string of four shinies in a row.
     
    Seriously? Well I did spend quite a long time breeding eevees but I've never even once seen a shiny pokemon throughout my whole pokemon gaming, so is it just like a random spirt of luck?
     
    You got that Eevee without getting a single Shiny!?? I can't believe that...

    ...Um...wait, level 17? How did you get it up to that? Rare Candies right? Then you might want to give it a few more to double check those IVs.
     
    in my whole poke-gaming experience i've found over 100 shinies at least xD and also, im having trouble believing you got those IVs on your eevee
     
    Should I evolve it into umbreon? Thats what im leaning to but umbreon doesnt use that many of the stats (speed, atk, sp atk are useless) so i dont know... anyway, ill get it at a higher level and recheck the ivs... Im starting to feel lucky here, but seriously, ive never seen a shiny pokemon..

    I will level it up and EV train it soon and once im done ill take some pictures (if the IVs stay high) and post the pictures if its really that rare..

    I didnt post the stats, I only posted the IVs. Its stats are:

    HP 50
    Atk 28
    Def 27
    Spd 25
    SpAtk 25
    SpDef 35

    You still didn't answer me: did you raise the Eevee to that level through battling or Rare Candies? Because if you battled with it then those IVs are going to be off due to EV distribution (I somehow expect this to be the case)...

    And with those higher Special IVs your best bet would probably be Espeon or maybe Jolteon.
     
    I battle only like 3 battles (2 gravelers and 1 golbat) and then i used rare candies for the rest to check... i put the evs in the calculator.. would it still be off?

    Im going to hatch the rest of my eggs and if i dont get anything else good ill make it into umbreon cuz thats the one i want most, but if i get something good for an umbreon ill make an espeon with it.
     
    IVs aren't everything... You could have an Alakazam with straight 31s, but if its Adamant, its useless.

    I'd say that thats not so great, Sassy isn't quite a good nature for any of the Eevees...
     
    sassy's gread for umbreon cuz it gives it a major boost of special defense. Ive decided to make it so.

    Whats the difference from puttin ev in hp instead of defense and spdefense? I think im not going to put it in hp because ill be able to heal less with moonlight.. is that a good assumption?

    No. Moonlight heals based on percentage of HP, not total number.
     
    I got im a bit higher and evolved him...and... I was so close to getting a perfect 31 in all stats but i guess the defense is 29 or 30... SO CLOSE!!! well maybe itll change if i level up more, but anyway, its pretty much the best pokemon ive ever got
